NYE 2012 is proving to be one of the busiest nights I have ever worked in 8 years as a DJ! I’ll be holding down 2 different spaces throughout the night/morning – setting things off proper at Dicks on Milwaukee St. from 9-11ish and then hustling to Rogues Gallery to rock with the No Request Sound System homie – WhyB until 2am. Rogues Gallery is located on 134 E. Juneau Avenue. As far as I’m aware, cover is only $5 and instead of a champagne toast, there will be FREE Stoli Red Bull Bombs at Midnight. After I wrap up at Rogues Gallery, I’ll be back to Dicks by 3am to play “THE PARTY AFTER THE PARTY” (3-8am)… From what I hear, tables are nearly sold out! $5 Vodka Red Bulls, $60 bottles of Veuve, and a complimentary breakfast bar are also on the menu!! React Milwaukee presents 12th Planet @ Turner Hall
Saturday November 12th – React Presents welcomes 12th Planet to our city for his first ever Milwaukee appearance. Since May 2011, I have been hard at work w/ Chicago based production company – React Presents, to begin establishing a base and brand for them in Milwaukee. I’ve been overseeing talent buying/booking, event coordination, and marketing efforts. 12th Planet marks our first official “React Milwaukee” event and is being held at the historic Turner Hall Ballroom. This is hands down my favorite venue in the city – a 7000 square foot, 2-level, 1000 capacity space. Turner Hall boasts phenomenal acoustics, concert sound & lighting, 2 full bars w/ outstanding beer lists and reasonably priced drinks, and is centrally located downtown on 4th street across from the Bradley Center. 12th Planet is currently on Skrillex’s “Mothership Tour” and will be leaving Chicago on Saturday morning to come show Milwaukee how he gets down!! HALLOWEEN WEEKEND – BAD GENIE & DICKS
Halloween Weekend is shaping up to be an EPIC party time!! Friday night, I’m back at the Bad Genie Rock Lounge for the “GET OFF” – A 2-level indie/electro dance party I started about 3 months ago. Our buddies from Boy Blue preform live downstairs while DJs Jason Samonik, James Dece, and I keep the party hype on the second floor. The event has popped off and proven to be one of the best re-occuring monthly events of the year! Saturday Night, I’m back at Dicks on Milwaukee St. Like I’ve said before – this is hands down one of my favorite Milwaukee venues to play. Musically, I’ll be dropping everything from grimy UK dubstep and bass music to hip-hop, electro, and drum&bass. Their motto for this years Halloween party – ‘At the stroke of midnight, a Queen will be crowned. She is the official vocalist on the Deadmau5 tour and will be hustling to Enclave following her performance w/ Deadmau5 at the sold-out Aragon Ballroom Chicago to perform a 20-30 minute live set.

11.25.11 – Mayhem @ The Mid w/ Boys Noize
Friday November 25th (Black Friday), I’ve been invited to play The Mid Chicago as support for Boys Noize and Chicago’s notorious party-rock DJ duo – Team Bayside High. This is hands down one of the top-ranked venues in the country and boasts a massive Funktion-One sound-system and top-notch light rig. Inside this 801-capacity 2-level space, you will find three full service bars, ample room for dancing, cozy booths and table seating, and a VIP room equipped with its own bar and DJ booth. With the second floor balcony and seating, there is not a bad seat in the house, and the dual-floor bathrooms that are bigger than some apartments. Simple modern touches like exposed brick and dark wood floors make the place look rich yet relaxed. All of these elements keep with the venue’s direction to pave the way for music-centric clubs in Chicago.
